BA4 SCHOOL PLACEMENT

During my 4th year school placement as part of my education course I had the opportunity to work with and learn from some brilliant educators in Ardscoil La Salle.

Adapting to the unique challenges presented by DEIS schools
required a heightened sensitivity to the diverse needs of the student population. As I navigated through this school placement, I recognized the necessity of tailoring my teaching and learning
strategies to accommodate the specific circumstances these students faced.

5TH YEAR VISUAL STUDIES - IMPRESSIONISM

The aim of this unit of learning was to explore and research ‘Impressionism’ through practical and written class activities using the 6 elements of the Visual Studies Framework.

4TH YEAR MIXED MEDIA MODELS

The aim of this unit was to explore typography, cardboard construction and sculpture by designing and creating a model using mixed media relating to the theme of ‘Society’. I wanted this to be an accessible project that the students could pick up and put down easily.
